Mexican Salad , 1983

 Here is Mexican salad from 1983 Betty Crocker cookbook. I'm planning on making this week sometime.

                              Mexican Salad

2 avocados, cut up

3 Tablespoons grated onion

1 Tablespoon lemon or lime juice

 1 teaspoon salt

 1 canned green hot peppers, finely chopped

1 medium tomato , chopped


 Mash avacados with fork. Add onion, lemon juice, salt and hot pepper; beat until cream. Fold in tomato. Cover and refrigerate no longer than 3 hours. Serve on lettuce
