    Interesting thing I think I have discovered on this one that's in my collection. I think this one is an example that maybe the publishing company might have sent out, or maybe had in their office...This publishing company is no longer in business...it was based out of Kansas..., I just found it interesting, ..,Maybe that's why I couldn't find what organization had this...Just thought I would pass it along.   Until next time keep reading those cookbooks and keep learning

Possible Inspiring ideas is somewhat what this blog is about..I've decided to start counting my cookbooks, , I definitely dont think I could count the recipes that I have or have inherited from my mom and Grandma..   So the inspiration of this next year I have actually started this year or rather the end of 2024. Why not go thru my cookbooks and show the year that they were published ,and the community type cookbooks, share the company,  and the recipe index in the Community type cookbooks. Possibly share the history of those company or church or business of that cookbook...At least it's a thought now...   Have I mention I cant not stop by a thrift store and look at the cookbooks..I must confess that is where I have gotten biggest part of my cookbooks, by yard sales and thrift stores..I seriously maybe have more cookbooks then the craft magazines that I have..   I also love the vintage style of dishes, the designs of them..the inspiration of the vintage kitchen..it s...

   Let's try this again, My plan is to start counting my cookbooks and dive deeper into them and read them like a book ...this may take awhile, since I'm absolutely have a cookbook addiction, I just can't seem to stop myself from buying them...but hey when they are 25 cent to a dollar who can...lol    So lets start with the first bookshelf ( I do need more of them ), and first cookbook                      First off in my collection I'm sharing is this chem ( Missouri)...a Church cookbook. I just love community cookbooks. The next few videos on YouTube channel will be from this cookbook. This cookbook was copywrite in 1998. It does have a list of foods plus how much you will need for 25,50,100 servings...besides a few other tips..It does have some Yummy recipes, plus some interesting recipes as well...Life's Recipe, How to Cook a Husband, plus Kitchen prayer over the sink...           ...

  I've always had different collections of things...When I was a little girl I collected Dog figurines..plus a couple of other cute girly type things ...My mom had always loved recipes, I must admit I have as well. That's Why I think I took foods class in school. There I learned the different measurements, 1/4,1/2,3/4 and 1 cup...learned about the different areas of food.   Then after I became an adult , I still loved recipes, and even had a cookbook or two...Then I got married started to try a few more recipes on the back of labels..and picked up a couple of cookbooks, I still have those, and I treasure them. Then when I was raising my girls , I still collected recipes, ones I wrote down from a cookbook I liked I had checked out at the library..and often tried some of those recipes.   Then I started picking up cookbooks I seen at yard sales I liked, thrift stores I picked up more cookbooks..Needless to say I 'm still collecting cookbooks..and Recipes...Just love looking ...
