My Cookbook Collection Part 1

Let's try this again, My plan is to start counting my cookbooks and dive deeper into them and read them like a book ...this may take awhile, since I'm absolutely have a cookbook addiction, I just can't seem to stop myself from buying them...but hey when they are 25 cent to a dollar who can...lol

So lets start with the first bookshelf ( I do need more of them ), and first cookbook

First off in my collection I'm sharing is this chem ( Missouri)...a Church cookbook. I just love community cookbooks. The next few videos on YouTube channel will be from this cookbook. This cookbook was copywrite in 1998. It does have a list of foods plus how much you will need for 25,50,100 servings...besides a few other tips..It does have some Yummy recipes, plus some interesting recipes as well...Life's Recipe, How to Cook a Husband, plus Kitchen prayer over the sink...

Number 2 in my collection is from a Walmart( Missouri), the employees submitted recipes..it does have some helpful hints for each section...( lot of great tips, like how to make self-rising flour if you don't have any and a recipe calls for it), It's the one I'm currently working on recipes out  of it...., at Least going to start in December, the first one is Lemon Chicken, and its delicious I might add..This cookbook was published in 2005

Number 3 is at first was a healthy cookbook , Recipes from the Heart..but after looking at it again...its The Pampered Chef, What cook doesn't need pampered? I think we all do!...I do believe I have more Pampered Chef's Cookbooks in my collection ( Don't Worry We will look at them once I get to them, might be a long ways,). This cookbook has a few appetizers I want to try, in which will be doing recipes from the cookbook probably in the New Year, or close to it...This Cookbook is another out of Missouri ( Hmm I'm in Missouri I wonder if that's why I have alot from Missouri). This cookbook was published in 1997. I so Look forward to doing some recipes out of here.
( no interesting tidbits in this one)

Number 4 in my collection , I've not really dived into as of yet, I really don't want to get ahead of myself...It was published in July  2011, so not really that old..another Missouri community cookbook , I see a theme here...It does have some history of the Oats transportation bus ,mainly for seniors or those disadvantaged  in the state of Missouri..I just might have to try Let it Snow Cocoa..once the snow starts a-flying here ( not looking forward to the snow though). Some canning recipes in this one and a couple of interesting recipes as well, In which You know I just might share on my YouTube Channel...

Number 5 in my collection, Home Cookin is a Family affair, yes, i do believe it is ...Because if you cook what your family likes...I'm glad my husband does tolerate some of trying these recipes...I dont know for sure where this one is from ,but it was published in Kansas ( finally maybe a different state)..some interesting quotes in the front of this one..Happiness is a Habit, Cultivate it, The Greatest trials bring the Greatest Strengh ( isn't that the truth).., A few interesting things in this one...How to remove stains( I just might have to try a few of these)How to set a proper table ( like where the spoons and forks go at a dinner party. Canning Recipes in this one as well..

I think that's enough for right now...I need to start looking deeper into the ones I haven't really looked at yet..and see what recipes I want to share...I can't wait to share with you...Be sure to check out my Youtube channel..@louannskitchen...for the recipes. plus a few more in between the each cookbook..from old Newspaper clippings, back of Label , vintage Magazine recipes as well
