Hobo Beans

 An old wise tell is to eat Black Eyed peas on New Year's to bring Good luck for the year..I did that with these Beans. I swapped out the Kidney beans and used Black Eyed Beans. After last nights Sheniganns this might good to have tomorrow!

since this is a community type cookbook , I'm sharing the recipe...This will be the last Recipe from this cookbook..( at least for awhile, ) It's a great cookbook , all of the recipes have been delicious..

                                            Hobo Beans

1 pound hamburger                                          1 cup brown sugar
1 can kidney beans                                           1/2 cup barbeque sauce
1 can pork n beans                                            1 cup ketchup
1 can Great Northern Beans                              1 Tablespoon Mustard
1 can ro-tel

   Brown Hamburger' Drain. Add rest of ingredients ( don't drain any of them). Simmer on low heat until hot and bubbly. This is really good with BBQ anything...

My Cookbook Collection Part 1

   Let's try this again, My plan is to start counting my cookbooks and dive deeper into them and read them like a book ...this may take awhile, since I'm absolutely have a cookbook addiction, I just can't seem to stop myself from buying them...but hey when they are 25 cent to a dollar who can...lol    So lets start with the first bookshelf ( I do need more of them ), and first cookbook                      First off in my collection I'm sharing is this chem ( Missouri)...a Church cookbook. I just love community cookbooks. The next few videos on YouTube channel will be from this cookbook. This cookbook was copywrite in 1998.
