Taco Dip
This would be a great appetizer for New Year's Eve
This cookbook was published in 2005 and was a fundraiser for Children's Miracle network ..
Creamy Taco Dip
1 ( 8 oz) package cream cheese Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup sour cream tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup picante or salsa 1/4 cup chopped ripe olives
1 teaspoon cumin 1/4 cup canned chopped green
1 ( 15 oz) can refried beans chilies
Shredded Lettuce Tortilla Chips
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in taco sauce and cumin ,set aside. Spread the refried beans over the bottom of serving platter or 9 x 13 -inch dish . Spread Cream cheese mixture over beans, leaving about 1-inch uncovered around the edges. Top with layers of lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, olives, and chilies. Serve with tortilla chips .
