Cornbread Salad


                                                    This recipe I'm posting for my mom..
                              I will be making this recipe, and then taking it to her to try

                                                    Cornbread Salad

1 prepared cornbread ( can use                                  1 1/2 cup bacon bits
             Jiffy mix)                                                       3 large tomatoes, chopped
2 cup ( 16 oz) can pinto beans                                    1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
            Drained                                                           1/2 cup green chilies, chopped
3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese                                  1 bottle Ranch dressing
1/2 cup green onions

  Place 1/2 crumbled cornbread in large bowl. Top with 1 can beans and layer with 1/2 of each topping. Pour 1/2 the dressing over the top. Repeat beans and layer the other1/2 of toppings. End with 1/2 pf the dressing over the top/ Cover and chill 2 hours before serving.
