Garlic Fried Chicken

This cookbook is broke down in all of the holidays , ok maybe not totally all of the holidays of the year...I'm sharing today the recipe on page 79 ...This is part of the Bang-up 4th of July picnic menu...Yup that's right it has suggested menus for those holidays...now on to the Recipe

                                                             Garlic-Fired Chicken

Chicken Breasts or legs
salt to taste
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
flour
oil

Sprinkle each piece of chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place in plastic bag with flour; shake bag until chicken is well coated. Heat oil in skillet to 400 F. Degrees. Fry chicken until richly browned on one side; turn and fry on the other sides. Remove pieces' drain on absorbent paper

I do believe this recipe was meant to be fried in the Electric skillet...You know that skillet that was big in the 70s

Now on to the next Recipe or is it a cookbook...
