BEEF-CHEESE CASSEROLE

                Mrs. Sue T. Glovier from North Carolina

1 1/2 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper ( optional)

2 ( 8 oz) cans tomato sauce

1 cup cottage cheese

1 ( 8 oz) package cream cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4-1/3 cup green pepper, chopped

1/4-1/3 cup green onion, chopped

1 ( 8 oz) package noodles, cooked and drained

   Brown ground beef and onion in skillet. Add salt, pepper and tomato sauce, simmer slowly while preparing remaining ingredients. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, green pepper and onion. Place half of cooked noodles in a greased 3-quart casserole. Pour meat mixture over top. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 30 minutes

YIELD:  8-10 Servings
