BEEF- RICE -ALMOND CASSEROLE

1/2 cup boiling water

1/2 cup instant rice

1 pound hamburger

1/2 small onion

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup slivered almonds

Buttered crumbs or Special K

  Combine water and rice; let stand while you brown meat and onion. Add soups and almonds. Pour mixture into buttered casserole ; sprinkle with buttered crumbs. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 1 hour.

YIELD: 6 Servings
