CASHEW -BEEF BAKE

 Submitted by two people

                                  and

                Mrs. Mildred Williams from Wisconsin

1 pound ground beef

1 cup onions, chopped

 1 cup celery, diced

3 Tablespoons butter

1 ( 6 - or 8 oz) package noodles, cooked and drained

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 cup salted cashew nuts

   Brown beef, onions, and celery in butter. Arrange beef mixture and noodles in layers in a greased 2-quartr casserole. Combine soups, milk and seasonings; pour over beef and noodles. Cover and bake at 325 F. degrees for 1 hour. uncover; sprinkjle with cashew nuts and bake 10 minutes longer.

YIELD :  8 Servings
