CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE

2 Tablespoon fat

1 pound lean ground beef

1/4 cup onion, chopped

2/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/4 cup catsup

1 ( 8 oz) can tomato sauce

1 ( 8 oz) package cheese slices

1 can biscuits or sesame seed rolls

   Combine fat , beef, and onion in skillet; cook until meat is lightly browned . Drain ; add salt and pepper. Stir in catsup and tomato sauce; heat thoroughly. Turn into an 8 -inch square or 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cut cheese into thin strips and spread over meat. Top with biscuits or rolls. Bake at 425 F. degrees for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. NOTE:  Tomato soup may be substituted for tomato sauce if desired.

YIELD: 4-6 Servings
