Chicken Casserole with Mushrooms

CHICKEN CASSEROLE WITH MUSHROOMS

1 stewed chicken, diced

1 quart chicken broth

1 bunch celery, diced

1 can mushrooms

1 pound cheese, grated

1 No. 2 1/2 can or 1 quart tomatoes

1 onion, diced

1 pimento

1 cup cream

1 package long spaghetti

   Put chicken and broth into a large baking dish. Add remaining ingredients with uncooked spaghetti on top. Cover tightly and cook at 350 F. degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Do not Stir. 

YIELD: 12 Servings

Tuna Bake

Come with me to the year 1967, in the Great state of Kansas. When physical newspapers were a thing ( no internet). When basically almost all meals were cooked from scratch, there was some meal convenience foods...in which this recipe does use...casseroles were a thing as well...now on to the recipe ( sorry no photos due to tech issues)  What do you need for this recipe 1 package of Macaroni and cheese 3 Tablespoons  of soft Butter 1 cup tomatoes ( can use canned drained               Some) 1/2 milk 2 Tablespoons onion, minced 1 egg 1 can Tuna, drained 2 Tablespoons  Parsley,  snipped ( can         Use dried) 1/2 teaspoon  salt 2 Tablespoons  corn flake crumbs       ( can use more for top) A saucepan to mac n cheese 1 quart casserole dish  Oven Cook Macaroni and cheese as package directs, then add other ingredients.
