CHICKEN - CHEESE CASSEROLE

2 cup chicken broth

Flour

1/2 cup celery , thinly sliced

 2 cans mushroom buttons

1/2 cup onions, thinly sliced

1 ( 5 oz) can water chestnuts, thinly sliced

 1/2 can pimento strips

2 cup cooked chicken, sliced

 1 cup buttered bread crumbs

1 cup Cheddar cheese, diced

  Strain broth ;add flour to thicken to consistence of white sauce. Combine vegetables and chicken; place in a shallow casserole. /Pour sauce over mixture; sprinkle with buttered crumbs and cheese. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 30 minutes.

YIELD:  6 Servings
