CHICKEN -NOODLE CASSEROLE

1 ( 3 pound ) hen

1 large package noodles

1/4 loaf bread, finely cut

1/4 pound butter

 Salt and pepper

1/2 cup sour cream

   Cook chicken until tender in salted water. Remove meat from bones. Cook noodles in salted water; drain. Melt butter ; mix with bread. Alternate layers of bread , noodles and chicken in casserole. Season to taste. Pour sour cream over all. Top with 1 cup of buttered crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes at 450 F. degrees.

YIELD : 10 Servings
