CHILI CON CARNE CASSEROLE

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chili con carne
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1 cup cheese, grated
1 package tortillas or 1 package corn chips
combine soup and chili; mix thoroughly . Add onion and grated cheese to mixture. Lightly grease casserole dish. line bottom of casserole with tortillas broken into quarters or corn chips. Pour half of soup mixture over tortillas. Put layer of tortillas or corn chips oven mixture. Bake at 375 F. degrees for 45 minutes. NOTE: If desired, chopped lettuce and tomatoes may be sprinkled over top of casserole after it is cooked and served as a one dish meal and salad combined.
