CHILI CORN PONE PIE

2 cups chili

1 No. 2 can ranch style beans , drained

1 No 2 can whole kernel corn, drained

1 small can tomato puree

1 bunch fresh green onions or 1 large onion, chopped

1 large pod green pepper, chopped

    Mix all ingredients in a baking dish. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 20-25 Minutes.

CORN BREAD BATTER

3/4 cup corn meal

1/4 cup flour

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon soda

3/4 - 1 cup sour milk

1 egg

2 Tablespoon oil

   Mix dry ingredients and sift. Stir in milk. Mix egg and oil and fold into batter. Pour batter over top of casserole. Bake at 350-400 F. degrees for 20-30 minutes. 

YIELD:  8 Servings
