CHOW MIEN HOT DISH

1 pound mixed pork and veal, cubed

1 onion, finely chopped

Butter, melted

1 teaspoon vinegar

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1 can mushrooms

1 large can chow mien noodles

1 cup half and half cream

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 cup cashew nuts

Salt and pepper to taste

   Brown meat and onion in butter. Pour water over to cover ; add vinegar and mustard and simmer 1 hour. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake 1/2 hour or until heated , at 350 F. degrees.

YIELD: 4-5 servings
