Counting Cookbooks

 So today I decided to count my cookbooks...

                  HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY


I started with this one...yes, I do have lots of cookbooks..


                           and All of these...this is just one bookshelf...( or rather 2 I put together)

            a total of 151 cookbooks...Lot of community type ones...I think I started collecting when I didnt realize I was collecting cookbooks

                                     sorry about the blurriness...Alot of craft books on this shelf, I didnt count them...I do have a collection of them as well. A total of 132 Cookbooks on this shelf...


                                                  this next shelf I know has over 100, this shelf has my Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks, plus a few craft ones as well.....

    I havent fully counted the cookbooks...but I have a feeling its over 500 or close to it...

the plan is to display salt and pepper collection I have as well...maybe hang a vintage apron or  maybe old spice containers...so many ideas for my library .Well thats it for today~!

   Let's try this again, My plan is to start counting my cookbooks and dive deeper into them and read them like a book ...this may take awhile, since I'm absolutely have a cookbook addiction, I just can't seem to stop myself from buying them...but hey when they are 25 cent to a dollar who can...lol    So lets start with the first bookshelf ( I do need more of them ), and first cookbook                      First off in my collection I'm sharing is this chem ( Missouri)...a Church cookbook. Tuna Bake

Come with me to the year 1967, in the Great state of Kansas. When physical newspapers were a thing ( no internet). When basically almost all meals were cooked from scratch, there was some meal convenience foods...in which this recipe does use...casseroles were a thing as well...now on to the recipe ( sorry no photos due to tech issues)  What do you need for this recipe 1 package of Macaroni and cheese 3 Tablespoons  of soft Butter 1 cup tomatoes ( can use canned drained               Some) 1/2 milk 2 Tablespoons onion, minced 1 egg 1 can Tuna, drained 2 Tablespoons  Parsley,  snipped ( can         Use dried) 1/2 teaspoon  salt 2 Tablespoons  corn flake crumbs       ( can use more for top) A saucepan to mac n cheese 1 quart casserole dish  Oven Cook Macaroni and cheese as package directs, then add other ingredients.
