DOUBLE NOODLE CASSEROLE

Submitted by Mrs. Lucile Jacobsen from Michigan2 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1/2 cup stuffed olives, sliced

1 can mushrooms soup

1 soup can milk

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 ( 8 oz) package narrow noodles, cooked

1/2 cup sharp cheese, grated

1 cup chow mien noodles

1/4 cup salted nuts, chopped

   Brown ground beef and onion; add olives, soup, milk and salt. Place layers of meat mixture and cooked noodles in a 2- quart casserole having meat on top; sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with mixture of chow mien noodles and nuts; cook 10 minutes longer. 

YIELD:  8 Servings
