FAVORITE PORK CHOPP CASSEROLE

                                                    and

6 pork chops

3/4 cup rice

1 large onion, sliced

2 large tomatoes or 2 cups tomatoes ,sliced

1 green pepper, cut in rings

salt and pepper to taste

1 can beef bouillon or tomato juice

1/4 teaspoon thyme

1/4 teaspoon marjoram

  Brown pork chops; place chops on top of rice in bottom of deep casserole. Add pork chops drippings. Place a thick slice of onion, tomato and green pepper ring on each chop. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour in bouillon ; add thyme and marjoram . Cover and bake at 350 F. degrees for 1 hour  or until chops are tender.

YIELD: 6 servings
