GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE

1 pound ground beef

 1/4 cup onion, chopped

2 Tablespoon shortening

1 package frozen peas, cooked

1 can condensed celery soup

1 teaspoon salt

2 Tablespoon mustard

2 cup mashed potatoes

1/2 cup cheese, grated

   Brown beef and onion in shortening ; pour off all drippings. Combine with peas, soup , salt and mustard. Spoon into 1 1/2 -quart casserole ; arrange mashed potatoes around edge. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 F. degrees.

YIELD :  4-6 Servings
