HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE

6 oz egg noodles
1/2  cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
2 Tablespoon fat
1 cup cooked ham, chopped
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup cheese cubes
1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs
   Cook noodles in salt water until tender; drain. Fry onion and green pepper in fat until tender but not brown. Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs. Put mixture into greased baking dish; top with crumbs. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 F. degrees.
YIELD: 4 Servings

Tuna Bake

Come with me to the year 1967, in the Great state of Kansas. When physical newspapers were a thing ( no internet). When basically almost all meals were cooked from scratch, there was some meal convenience foods...in which this recipe does use...casseroles were a thing as well...now on to the recipe ( sorry no photos due to tech issues)  What do you need for this recipe 1 package of Macaroni and cheese 3 Tablespoons  of soft Butter 1 cup tomatoes ( can use canned drained               Some) 1/2 milk 2 Tablespoons onion, minced 1 egg 1 can Tuna, drained 2 Tablespoons  Parsley,  snipped ( can         Use dried) 1/2 teaspoon  salt 2 Tablespoons  corn flake crumbs       ( can use more for top) A saucepan to mac n cheese 1 quart casserole dish  Oven Cook Macaroni and cheese as package directs, then add other ingredients.
