HAMBURGER COBBLER

1 small onion, sliced

1/2 clove garlic, minced

1 Tablespoon fat

3/4 pound hamburger

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 pound cheese

1 cup tomatoes, drained

2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

3 Tablespoon catsup

1 1/2 cup sifted flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup shortening

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

   Saute onion and garlic in fat. Add hamburger and seasonings; brown lightly. Spread mixture in 9- inch square pan. Arrange cheese on meat ; top with tomatoes mixed with Worcestershire sauce and catsup. Make a biscuit dough with remaining ingredients ; drop on top of casserole.

YIELD:  6 Servings
