HAMBURGER PIE

1 medium onion, chopped

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1 ( 1 pound ) can green beans, drained

1 can condensed tomato soup

6 Tablespoon warm milk

1 egg, beaten

2 cup mashed potatoes

1/4 cup sharp cheese, grated

   Brown onion and beef; drain fat. In greased 2-quart casserole combine beef mixture, seasonings, beans and soup. Beat milk and egg into potatoes ; spoon in 1/4 cup mounds over bean mixture. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.

YIELD:  8 Servings

Tuna Bake

Come with me to the year 1967, in the Great state of Kansas. When physical newspapers were a thing ( no internet). When basically almost all meals were cooked from scratch, there was some meal convenience foods...in which this recipe does use...casseroles were a thing as well...now on to the recipe ( sorry no photos due to tech issues)  What do you need for this recipe 1 package of Macaroni and cheese 3 Tablespoons  of soft Butter 1 cup tomatoes ( can use canned drained               Some) 1/2 milk 2 Tablespoons onion, minced 1 egg 1 can Tuna, drained 2 Tablespoons  Parsley,  snipped ( can         Use dried) 1/2 teaspoon  salt 2 Tablespoons  corn flake crumbs       ( can use more for top) A saucepan to mac n cheese 1 quart casserole dish  Oven Cook Macaroni and cheese as package directs, then add other ingredients.
