HAMBURGERS CREOLE


1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon Accent

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

2 Tablespoon butter or margarine

1 small onion, sliced

1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced

1/4 cup diced green pepper

1/4 cup diced celery

1  ( 1 pound) can tomatoes

   Sprinkle beef with Accent, 3/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Toss gently with fork. Shape into four patties. Brown on both sides in melted butter in skillet. Remove meat; add all remaining ingredients except tomatoes , patties and remaining salt. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and patties. Cook slowly for 15 minutes.
