HEART CASSEROLE

 submitted by Mrs, Madra Fischer from Illinois

1 cup elbow macaroni or noodles

2 medium onions, quartered 

2 quart boiling water

3/4- 1 pound ground beef

2 Tablespoon butter

1 small onion, chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt

Dash of pepper

1 cup catsup

1 1/2 teaspoon mustard

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 cup grated cheese

   Cook macaroni and onions in salted water until tender; drain. Saute beef and chopped onion in butter. Stir in macaroni mixture and remaining ingredients except cheese. Put in a 1-quart casserole; top with cheese. Bake 15 minutes at 375 F. degrees .

YIELD:  4 Servings
