LAMB COUNTRY STYLE

 Submitted by Mrs. Sally Rhoads Parks from New Jersey

2 pound lamb

3/4 pound Cheddar cheese

1 1/2 pound tomatoes, sliced

Salt and Pepper to taste

Oregano ( optional)

Marjoram ( Optional)

1-2 Tablespoon butter

   Cut lamb in pieces as for stew. Line in a baking dish. Cut cheese in small piece and place on top. Cover with tomatoes. Sprinkle with seasonings; baste with melted butted. Bake at 375 F. degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. 

YIELD: 4-6 hours
