MEAT- POTATO PIE

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup tomato soup

1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs

1/4 cup onion, chopped

 1 1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 packet instant potatoes

1/2 cup cheese, shredded

1 egg, beaten

1/4 teaspoon onion salt

1/4 cup cheese, grated

   Combine beef, soup, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. Line bottom of a pie plate with mixture. Prepare instant potatoes according to package directions; add shredded cheese and cool. Stir in egg and onion salt; spread over meat mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 30 minutes.

YIELD: 6 Servings
