MEAT- RICE HOT DISH

1 pound stew meat, cubed

1 cup celery, chopped

 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped

1 onion, finely cut

1 cup rice

1 can chicken and rice pr chicken broth

1 can mushrooms soup

1 can chicken soup

2 soup cans water

1 teaspoon salt

Black Olives, slivered

Potato chips, crushed ( optional)

   Brown meat, celery, green pepper and onion each separately in small amount of butter. Put rice in buttered casserole dish; add browned ingredients. Add soups and water. Sprinkle salt on top; mix ingredients together thoroughly. Cut slivers of black olives and sprinkle on top. Bake 1 hour at 375 F. degrees . Potato chips may be sprinkled on top for the last few minutes of baking time. More water may be added if casserole becomes too dry.

YIELD: 4-6 Servings
