MEXICAN HAMBURGER CASSEROLE

1 pound beef hamburger

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 small onion, chopped

1/4 cup green pepper, chopped

 1/4 cup celery, chopped

1 No. 303 can peas, drained

1 No. 303 can corn, drained

1 package corn muffin mix

   Season hamburger with pepper, chili powder and salt. Add the onion, green pepper and celery. Saute until hamburger is grey in color. Place layers of corn, hamburger, peas and another layer of hamburger in greased casserole. Make the corn muffin mix as directed on package and put it on top of the casserole by spoon-fuls. Bake at 345 F. degrees until top is golden brown.

YIELD:  6 Servings
