NUTTY NOODLE CASSEROLE

2 pound ground beef

1/4 cup onion, diced

2 Tablespoon fat

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 1/2 cup milk

1/4 pound American cheese, cubed

1 ( 3 1/2 oz) jar olives, sliced

1 can chow mien noodles

1/2 cup walnuts ,pecans or almonds

    Brown meat and onions in fat. Stir soup and milk together in bowl. Spread meat mixture in flat casserole; pour soup mixture over meat. Place cheese and olives over top; scatter nuts over cheese. Bake 20 minutes at 350 F. degrees . Cover with noodles and bake for 15-20 minutes more.

YIELD: 10 Servings
