ONION-PORK CHOP CASSEROLE

Submitted by two people

                  Mrs. Roberta Null from Minnesota

                                  and

                 Mrs. Alice Applegate from Iowa

6-8 pork chops

 salt and pepper to taste

2 Tablespoon fat

3/4 -1 cup raw rice

1-2 cans onion soup

1- 2 cans soup cans water

    Dredge chops in seasoned flour. Brown in fat; drain excess drippings. Sprinkle rice in bottom of 2- quarts casserole. Add soup, water and chops. Cover and bake at 375 F. degrees for 45 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove cover during last 10 minutes to brown.

YIELD: 6-8 servings
