PORK CHOPS WITH LEMON SLICES

4-6 pork chops

2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup catsup

4-6 slices lemons

  Place pork chops in casserole; cover with brown sugar. Pour catsup over sugar. Place lemon slices on top. Cover and bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350 F. degrees.

VARIATIONS: Omit catsup and lemon slices. Add 1/4 cup apple cider or orange juice. Ham can be used instead of pork chops and ground cloves can be sprinkled over ham.

YIELD:  4-6 Servings
