PORK' N ' RICE CASSEROLE

1 -1 1/4 pound pork steaks, cubed
1 medium onion , chopped
1 cup dry rice
2 cans chicken and rice soup
1 can cream of mushrooms soup
1/2 -1 cup water
Saute pork and onions until slightly browned. Put rice , soups, and water in casserole; add browned meat and onion. Bake covered at 400 F. degrees until it begins to bubble up. Reduce heat to 300-325 F. degrees for remaining baking time. Stir once or twice. Total baking time is approximately 1 hour.
YIELD: 6-8 Servings
