RING AROUND THE CHICKEN

Submitted by Mrs. Mabel L. Shipe from Pennsylvania 

1 1/2 cup sifted flour

3 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 - to 3/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1/2 cup plus 2 Tablespoon milk

   Sift dry ingredients together ; cut shortening in until fine. Add milk, mixing thoroughly. Spoon into an 8- inch ring mold. Bake 15 minutes at 450 F. degrees. Unmold on hot paltter. Serve with hot creamed chicken in center.
