Round Beef Casserole

1 1/2 pound round steak, cut i1/2 inch pieces
3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
6 small potatoes, sliced
3 carrots, sliced ( Optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Dash of Garlic salt
2 cup beef bouillon
Brown steak in butter; remover from pan. Saute onion in drippings until lightly browned. In a shallow baking dish layer half of meat, onion, potatoes, and carrots. Season with salt and pepper and garlic salt. Repeat layers. Pour bouillon over all. Bake covered at 300 F. Degrees for 2 hours. add more bouillon if necessary.
Yield : 4-6 servings..
