SCALLOPED CHICKEN IN CASSEROLE

3 cup chicken broth

3 eggs, slightly beatenm

1/2 loaf bread, cubed

1 cup cracker crumbs

1 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup celery, diced

2 Tablespoon onion, chopped

3 cup cooked chicken, chopped

1 can sliced mushrooms

Buttered crumbs

   Pour broth and eggs over bread and crackers ; mix thoroughly. Add salt , celery and onion. Fold in chicken and mushrooms. Pour in greased baking pan. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake slowly at 300 F. degrees until knife comes out clean when inserted. 

YIELD : 12 Servings
