SCALLOPED CHICKEN

4 cup chicken broth

Poultry seasoning

Dried celery leaves

1/4 teaspoon sage

1 bay leaf

Pinch of ginger

1 cup milk

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup flour

2 cup bread cubes

5 cup cooked chicken , diced

   Add seasonings to broth ; bring to a boil and strain. Add half of broth to milk; heat. Blend butter and flour ; add to milk mixture. Cook for 15 minutes or until creamy ; stir occasionally. Pour remaining broth over bread cubes. Place a layer of chicken in a greased casserole ; add layers of gravy and bread cubes. Repeat layers ; bake at 350 F. degrees for 30-40 minutes.

YIELD: 8-10 Servings
