June Community Cookbook Club Pick


    For the June Community Cookbook Club selection for this month will be from Better Homes and Gardens Creative cookbook Library.


                               Still in the process of writing down each book, each year it was published and organizing them as well...at least sorta of organizing them...


                               These are the ones I have of the Better Homes and Gardens Creative Library

                       cookbooks...published in 1963, I think I'm missing maybe a couple of them.


                     This is the cookbook I will be making recipes out of for the month of June...

                         Since this is really technically not a Community cookbook., I dont think I will share the recipes I make, but then again , maybe...

     


                         Still planning on sharing the recipes from this Home Economics Cookbook

             I think it was published in the 60s...I don't have all of it, lot of pages are missing..., maybe

       one day I will find a full cookbook of it..., maybe try a few of them as well...who knows when this cookbook will be featured....I have noticed as of right now, no Missouri people have submitted recipes for this cookbook...

          so on to the Recipe for the day

Tuna Bake

Come with me to the year 1967, in the Great state of Kansas. When physical newspapers were a thing ( no internet). When basically almost all meals were cooked from scratch, there was some meal convenience foods...in which this recipe does use...casseroles were a thing as well...now on to the recipe ( sorry no photos due to tech issues)  What do you need for this recipe 1 package of Macaroni and cheese 3 Tablespoons  of soft Butter 1 cup tomatoes ( can use canned drained               Some) 1/2 milk 2 Tablespoons onion, minced 1 egg 1 can Tuna, drained 2 Tablespoons  Parsley,  snipped ( can         Use dried) 1/2 teaspoon  salt 2 Tablespoons  corn flake crumbs       ( can use more for top) A saucepan to mac n cheese 1 quart casserole dish  Oven Cook Macaroni and cheese as package directs, then add other ingredients.
