Chicken in a foil Packet
This recipe was found in a Woman's Day Magazine in 1985
Chicken in a Foil Packet
4 Tablespoon butter or magazine
3 cups Herb-seasoned stuffing mix
1/2 cup water
1 broiler-fryer ( 2 1/2 -3 pounds) ,quartered
paprika
1 Medium -size Golden Delicious apple, Quartered and cored
Heat oven to 450 degrees . Tear off four 12-inch lengths of 18-inch -wide Heavy Duty foil. Fold each in half crosswise and line up on counter in front of you. Grease top sides. place 1 Tablespoon butter in center of each top with 3/4 cup stuffing and sprinkle with 2 Tablespoon of water ( I left the water out). Put a piece of chicken on stuffing; Sprinkle with paprika and tuck an apple wedge alongside; fold foil closed, pinching edges to seal. Arrange packets on baking sheets. Bake 35 minutes until chicken is tender.
I think this would be great on the grill.
