Herb Bread
this recipe is for bread machines
1 pound loaf
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup milk
2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
In small skillet , melt butter over low heat. Add onion and sauté 8-10 minutes until onion is soft but not brown. Remove from heat, allow mixture to cool for 10 minutes before adding to bread machine pan.
Place all ingredients including onion mixture in bread pan, as manufacturer suggests in order.
Regular crust.
