Heavenly White Cake

 


                    Another Sweet Recipe from this cookbook..Do you see a theme so far this month...


                                        Heavenly White Cake

2 2/3 cup sifted cake flour                                   1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt                                               4 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup Mazola oil                                               4 egg yolks
          ( or any oil)
3/4 cup water                                                       1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoon orange extract                                    4 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

   9 inch layers, ungreased pans lined with waxed paper. 30 minutes in 350 F. Degree oven

Mix and sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Make a well and add in order: oil, cegg yolks, water and flavoring. Beat until smooth ( in a smaller bowl).
  In a large bowl beat cream of tartar with egg whites until stiff. Gently fold first mixture into egg white. Pour into 2- nine-inch layer pans ;bake.

               ICINGS
10 marshmallows
   Melt with just enough milk to line bottom of small pan. Cool slightly. Pour into `1/2 pint heavy whipping cream and beat until stiff. Top with coconut.

 FILLING
  
Make Vanilla pudding; spread between layers.
