BREAD DRESSING AND PORK CHOPS

6 slices bread

1/2 cup milk

1 small onion, chopped

1 eggs

1/2 teaspoon sage

1/2 teaspoon salt

pepper

4 pork chops

   Break bread into bowl; pour milk, onion, eggs, sage, salt and pepper over bread and mix. Add more milk if needed to moisten bread. Brown pork chops. Place 2 pork chops in bottom of greased casserole; add dressing and put 32 chops on top. Add a small amount of water to grease from chops; pour over top of casserole. Bake covered, for 1 hour at 350 F. degrees.

YIELD:  4 servings
