CHICKEN AND DRESSING SUPREME

1 loaf stale bread, crumbled
2 Tablespoon onion, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon sage
2 hens, cooked and diced
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup flour
6 eggs, beaten
6 cup chicken broth
Combine bread, onions and seasonings ; place in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Spread chicken over dressing. Melt butter ; blend in flour until smooth. Add broth ; stir well. Add eggs ; cook until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken and dressing. Sprinkle lightly with bread crumbs. Bake at 300 F. degrees for 45 minutes.
YIELD : 15-20 minutes
