CHICKEN AND STUFFING WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE

1 ( 8 oz) package prepared stuffing

3 cup cooked chicken , cubed or shredded

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

Dash of pepper

4 cup chicken broth

6 eggs, slightly beaten

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/4 cup milk

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup pimento , chopped

   Prepare stuffing according to directions on package for dry stuffings. Spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with layer of chicken. In saucepan, melt butter ; blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add cool chicken broth ; cook until thickened. Stir small amount of hot mixture into eggs ; add to hot mixture. Pour over chicken and bake 50 minutes at 325 F. degrees. Mix remaining ingredients; heat. Serve over casserole.

YIELD : 12 Servings
