MACARONI MULLIGAN

1/2 pound sausage

1 Tablespoon bacon drippings

 1 onion, finely chopped

1 pound ground beef

1 ( 8 oz) pound package macaroni, cooked

1 No. 2 1/2 can tomatoes

1 Tablespoon parsley, chopped

2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

   Brown the pork in bacon drippings ;add onion and brown. Add ground beef. Stir until mixture in a golden brown. Add cooked macaroni, tomatoes, parsley and seasonings. Cover and bring to steaming point ; reduce heat to simmer and continue cooking for 45 minutes or until mulligan is done.

YIELD: 6 Servings
