NOODLE STROGANOFF

1/4 cup onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Butter
1 pound ground chuck
1/2 cup sherry
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can mushrooms soup
1 can onion soup
2 cans water
1/4 pound noodles
1 pint sour cream
Saute onions and garlic powder in butter; add meat and brown well. Add sherry and seasonings; simmer. Dilute soups with water; add to meat and heat to simmering. Stir in noodles; cover and cook until noodles are tender. Add sour cream; heat quickly, mixing in sour cream. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
YIELD: 6-8 Servings
