PAT'S PARTY CASSEROLE

3 pound veal, cubed

 Flour

Oil

1 bunch of celery, diced

1 medium onion, chopped

1 can mushrooms soup

1 ( 4oz) can mushrooms

10 1/2 oz cream or evaporated milk

1/2 cup blanched almonds

1 can chow mien noodles

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Pepper to taste

  Dredge veal in flour; brown in oil. Remove veal; add celery and onions and cook until limp and glazed. Return veal to skillet; add remaining ingredients except almonds and noodles. Simmer 1 hour. Put mixture in buttered casserole; top with noodles and sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 40 minutes.

YIELD " 10-12 servings
