PHEASANT -MUSHROOM BAKE

  3 cooked pheasants or Cornish hens

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 onion, chopped

 1/4 cup butter

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

1 pint half and half cream

1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate

1/4 teaspoon oregano or paprika

   cube cooked pheasant or hens. Dredge cubes in flour, salt and pepper. Saute meat and onion in butter; place in greased casserole. Make mixture of soup, half and half and monosodium glutamate. Pour over cubs; sprinkle with oregano or paprika. Bake at 375 F. degrees for 30-45 minutes. If mixture becomes dry while baking add small amount of milk.

YIELD: 8-10 Servings
