VEGETABLES IN MEAT SHELL

1 1/2 pound lean beef, chopped
3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
1 cup tomato juice or milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 small onion, minced
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 drops Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup soft margarine
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup parsley, minced
2 cup diced potatoes, cooked
1 cup peas, cooked
1/2 cup diced carrots, cooked
1/2 cup sliced celery , cooked
6 tiny onions, cooked

Mix beef oatmeal, tomato juice, onion, egg, salt , pepper and Tabasco sauce. Press evenly into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 F. degrees for 15 minutes or until almost firm. Blend margarine, cheese, flour and parsley. Combine with drained, mixed hot vegetables. Pour into meat shell . Garnish with cheese diamonds and sliced cooked carrots. Bake until thoroughly heated. Serve with mushrooms sauce.
